K2B manufactures Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen (CRMB), a premium bitumen reinforced with fine rubber powder milled from end-of-life tires. This results in a road surface that flexes rather than cracks, providing a quieter ride under traffic, enhanced traction in wet conditions, and significantly greater resistance to rutting and water damage compared to conventional mixes. Designed to withstand Malaysian heat and monsoon rain, CRMB ensures long-lasting road performance.
Every tonne of CRMB produced permanently incorporates scrap tires into the road, preventing their disposal in landfills, open burns, or monsoon drains. Performance-proven since 2019, CRMB is certified by JKR Malaysia under its Road Material Approved List of RMAL 038/2022.
