Driving Sustainable Road Construction with CRMB & CRMA: Highlights from K2 Bitumen’s Technical Visit
On 5th May 2025, a landmark Technical Visit to the K2 Bitumen CRMB Plant in Ipoh brought together key players in Malaysia’s infrastructure sector to explore the environmental benefits and performance of Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen (CRMB) and Crumb Rubber Modified Asphalt (CRMA). The session, chaired by Datuk Ir. Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi, focused on how K2B’s innovative bitumen solutions contribute to lowering carbon emissions and aligning with ESG goals during road construction.
K2 Bitumen (K2B), a leader in eco-friendly road surfacing, welcomed members of the Institute Jalan Raya dan Pengangkutan Malaysia (IJRPM) and industry leaders to its plant.
